Description
BETHELEHEM, September 20, 2012 (WAFA) – A group of Jewish settlers Thursday took over six dunums of Palestinian-owned land in an area south of al-Khader, a town south of Bethlehem, according to a local activist.
Ahmad Salah, coordinator of the popular committee against settlements in al-Khader, told WAFA that settlers took over six dunums of land located between the settlements of Eliezer and Ezion in Khillet al Fahem area.
He added that settlers, a week ago, erected a large shed with metal roofing over the land where they celebrated their holidays.
Salah said that this Israeli measure aims to expand the settlements and connect them to create a settlement belt around Jerusalem.
