GAZA, September 11, 2012 (WAFA) - Israeli navy boats Tuesday fired several missiles and opened fire at Palestinian fishermen while they were fishing in Gaza waters, northwest of Beit Lahiya, north of Gaza, according to the fishermen.

They said two Israeli gunboats opened fire at the fishermen boats, chased them for an hour to the shore, destroyed their fishing nets and damaged their equipments, forcing them to leave the area. No injuries were reported.
