NABLUS (Ma'an) -- A group of settlers destroyed dozens of olive trees in a Nablus village on Wednesday, a PA official said.
Ghassan Doughlas, who monitors settlement activity in the northern West Bank, told Ma'an that settlers from Yitzhar settlement destroyed dozens of trees in the south Nablus village of Burin.
In 2011, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reported that settler attacks had increased by 50 percent on the previous year.
The Nablus district of the West Bank experienced the majority of settler violence throughout the year.
