JENIN, August 15, 2012 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Sunday demolished three artesian wells in Beit Qad and Deir Abu Da’if, villages east of Jenin, according to local and security sources.

They told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the two villages and demolished three Palestinian-owned water wells.

Jenin Mayor Talal Dweikat told WAFA that Israel is targeting Jenin area, which suffers from a noticeable shortage in water supply, noting that Israeli forces demolished tens of water wells before.
