NABLUS, July 28, 2012 (WAFA) – Israeli army Saturday conducted a military operation in the city of Nablus, the largest in many months, leading to confrontations, arrests and the injury of several Palestinians, according to local sources.
They said forces stormed the city at dawn, deployed its soldiers around the city and fired tear gas and acoustic bombs at the Palestinian residents leading to confrontations that caused the injury of two Palestinians by bomb shrapnel in addition to several suffocation cases.
The injured were transferred to hospital for treatment.
Soldiers also fired a bomb inside a house belonging to Abdullah al-Kharoof, causing heavy damage to the house.
Forces also arrested five Palestinians, including the owner of the damaged house.
