ENIN (Ma'an) -- Israel on Friday released a Hamas member after detaining him without charge for 14 months, the Ahrar prisoners center said.
Khalid al-Hajj was released from Ofer prison after serving time in Megiddo and Shatta prisons.
Al-Hajj has been detained several times before, and has spent a total of over 100 months in administrative detention, without charge or trial, the center said in a statement.
Al-Hajj said prisoners were calling more support from the Palestinian public in their struggle against Israeli prison authorities. He also stressed the need for national reconciliation.
