Israel Military Court Sentences Palestinian Prisoner to 54 Life Terms

RAMALLAH, July 1, 2012 (WAFA) - Ofer military court Sunday sentenced Palestinian prisoner Ibrahim Hamed to 54 life sentences, claiming he killed 46 Israelis and wounded hundreds in military operations, said the Palestinian Prisoner Club.It said that Hamed refused to stand in front of the court, accept its ruling and refused to apologize or express remorse.
Hamed denied all charges levied against him and refused to recognize the court’s jurisdiction over him.
Head of the Palestinian Prisoner Club Qaddura Fares considered the ruling to be unjust and arbitrary.
