JERUSALEM, June 28, 2012 (WAFA) – Israeli police arrested two Palestinian minors, 15 and 17 years old, from the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Issawiya under the pretext of torching fields near a military base on the outskirts of their neighborhood in the French Hill, reports said on Thursday.

Police claimed that one of the two youths confessed during interrogation to being responsible for burning the fields and said the torching might be related to “nationalist motives.”

The two minors are expected to be referred to the Israeli magistrate’s court to extend their arrest in order to continue interrogation.
