BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces demolished several domestic buildings in a Bethlehem town on Monday, local officials said.

Al-Ubeidiya municipal deputy Mohammad Matar Radaydeh said soldiers deployed to the al-Harma area of the town, to the east of Bethlehem, and tore down tents and sheds belonging to Muhammad Salameh Abu Sarhan and Nayef Ali Saleh Abu Sarhan.

Radaydeh warned that the demolitions aimed to transfer local residents from the area.
