Description
HEBRON (Ma’an) -- A Palestinian woman was detained in the city of Hebron on Sunday after Israeli settlers raided her house, locals told Ma'an.
A group of Israelis from a nearby settlement entered several homes along Shuhada street in the center of town, residents said.
Jamila Hassan Abdul Fattah Al-Shalaldeh was accused of attacking settlers after they entered her home and was detained by Israeli forces, locals added.
An Israeli military spokeswoman did not immediately return calls seeking comment.
Shuhada Street, a main road in Hebron's once-bustling center, has been closed to Palestinians since an Israeli settler shot dead 29 Palestinians worshiping in Ibrahimi mosque in 1994.
Several Palestinian families still living on the street face harassment from a close-by Israeli settlement, residents say.
