Updated: Israeli forces besieged and bombed a Palestinian home in the town of Surda, north of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank, before dawn on Friday, and abducted a young man who was in the property. At dawn Friday, the army shot a Palestinian child and assaulted another in the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.
Quds Press reported that occupation forces besieged and bombed a citizen’s home, after invading the town of Surda, north of Ramallah, before dawn on Friday.
َQuds added that the army fired “Energa” anti-tank grenades at the home; there have been no official reports of arrests or injuries.
The WAFA News Agency has confirmed that a young man, Abdullah Mahmoud Rimawi, who was in the surrounded and bombed home, surrendered to the army after the home was bombed, which also led to serious damage.
WAFA added that the soldiers also abducted Beitunia town, west of Ramallah, and surrounded a home before abducting Monther Shafe’ey, in addition to storming and ransacking several shops, causing damage.
In addition, two 15-year-old Palestinian boys were injured during an Israeli military invasion into the Deheishe refugee camp, located south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.
Medical sources said the soldiers shot a child, 15, in the leg with live ammunition, and assaulted another child, 15, and added that local medics rushed both children to a hospital in Bethlehem.
Israeli forces stormed the refugee camp, deployed foot patrols, and positioned themselves along the main Jerusalem–Hebron road and at the camp’s main entrance, while firing stun grenades
In related news, the army shot a Palestinian young man with live ammunition on Thursday evening, near the Annexation Wall, in the city of Qalqilia.
Media sources said that the army shot a Palestinian in the abdomen and shoulder while he was present near the Annexation Wall, causing moderate wounds; he was transported to the Qalqilia Hospital for medical treatment.
Also on Thursday evening, Israeli forces stormed the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron in the southern West Bank, injured Palestinian citizens, and abducted a young man.
Mohammed Awad, a local activist, told the WAFA News Agency that Israeli soldiers invaded the Al-Bayada area in Beit Ummar town, and fired tear gas canisters at homes, resulting in several citizens suffering inhalation injuries.
Media sources added that soldiers abducted the young man, Bilal Mahmoud Sabarneh, 32, after assaulting him inside his commercial shop.
