HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained four people across the West Bank overnight Tuesday, officials said.
Israeli soldiers raided Hebron-district town Beit Ummar at dawn, while quietly entering the house of a 56-year-old woman, popular committee spokesman Muhmmad Ayyad Awad said.
Forces entered her Beit Ummar home without announcing their presence, surprising Khadija Hussain Sabarneh in her bedroom, she told Awad.
"The Israeli soldiers treated me inhumanely -- they screamed at me and asked me to stay silent while they detain my 25-year-old son Hamzeh, who was taken later to Etzion military camp," she said.
Student at the Palestine Technical College Hamzeh Abu Mariya, 22, was also detained in Beit Ummar and taken to Etzion, Awad added.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said in addition to two detentions in Beit Ummar, one person was seized overnight in Qalandiya and another in al-Shuyyukh near Hebron.
