On Saturday, Day 645 of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, and Day 114 since Israel violated the mediated ceasefire agreement on March 18, Israeli missiles and shells have killed at least 112 Palestinians, including 34 while awaiting humanitarian aid, and injured dozens, including children and women, across the devastated coastal enclave.

Israel has launched a wave of intense airstrikes on Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza, with reports indicating approximately 40 aerial attacks targeting the area.

Two Palestinians, including a child, Hamza Al-Banna, were killed, and one was seriously wounded, when the Israeli army fired a shell at a home near Sayyed Hashem Mosque, in the Daraj neighborhood, in the center of Gaza city.

At least elven Palestinians, including children, were killed, and dozens injured, in intense Israeli bombing and shelling of the Gaza City’s Shati refugee camp.

An Al Jazeera correspondent described harrowing scenes inside the emergency ward of al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, following two Israeli airstrikes on the densely populated al-Shati refugee camp. Many of the casualties were children, with families arriving in shock and grief.

Journalist Mohammed Qreiqea recounted the chaos, noting that one woman arrived carrying her lifeless daughter, who had been playing at home moments before the strike. Another man was seen clutching the body of his son, sitting silently on the hospital floor.

One child’s body was reportedly transported on a sheet of tin by neighbors, underscoring the desperation and lack of resources amid the devastation.

Medical sources at al-Shifa Hospital confirmed at least seven fatalities and 40 injuries, many of which involved severe trauma to the head and upper body, consistent with the impact of explosive munitions on residential areas.

In Jabalia, in northern Gaza, medical sources have confirmed that Israeli missiles killed at least one Palestinians, when the army bombarded two homes, and added that 40 Palestinians remain under the rubble.

In Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, the Israeli army bombarded a home near the Al-Amal Hospital, west of the city, killing two Palestinians and wounding man.

The army also detonated several homes and buildings in the Al-Katiba area, in the northern part of Khan Younis.

Medical sources have confirmed that 112 Palestinians, including 33 while awaiting humanitarian aid, were killed, and more than 180 injured, in the Gaza Strip, Saturday.

Six Israeli soldiers were wounded in several parts of the Gaza Strip, while the Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, said its fighters destroyed an armored Israeli military bulldozer.

The media advisor for UNRWA told Al Jazeera that Israel has forced the majority of Gaza’s population into a confined area of just 55 square kilometers, creating conditions of extreme overcrowding and humanitarian collapse.

He added that medical teams are severely exhausted, operating under critical shortages of fuel and essential medical supplies, which has crippled their ability to respond to the escalating crisis.

The advisor also warned that the current food distribution system has effectively become a new killing zone, with civilians facing deadly risks simply for trying to access basic aid.

In a recent report, the United Nations revealed that 86.1 percent of the Gaza Strip has been declared Israeli militarized zones or placed under mandatory evacuation orders, leaving only a small portion of the territory accessible to civilians.

This sweeping designation has severely limited humanitarian access, forcing displaced families into increasingly overcrowded and unsafe areas.

Humanitarian teams have reported rising difficulties in reaching vulnerable populations, as vital services—such as clean water, emergency shelter, and medical care—are rapidly deteriorating under the combined pressure of displacement and the ongoing blockade.

Also, the U.S. government has confirmed its use of the so-called “Canary Mission”, a pro-Israel website—to identify pro-Palestinian students for deportation, prompting widespread condemnation from civil rights advocates.

While activists have long suspected that the Trump administration was relying on Canary Mission to target students and academics critical of Israel, those concerns were validated this week during federal court proceedings challenging the administration’s deportation campaign.

Peter Hatch, a senior official with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), testified that the Department of Homeland Security formed a specialized “tiger team” tasked with compiling dossiers on foreign-born college students engaged in pro-Palestinian activism, using Canary Mission as a primary source.

On the other hand, Video circulating on social media shows protests in London being detained for holding handwritten placards reading: “I oppose genocide, I support Palestine Action.”

The protest, held in central London, resulted in over 40 arrests as participants rallied in support of Palestine Action, which was officially proscribed under the so-called UK anti-terrorism legislation last week.

Under the ban, any public expression of support for the group is now considered a criminal offence, carrying penalties of up to 14 years in prison. Police have stated that violations may include chanting, wearing symbolic clothing, or displaying items such as flags, signs, or logos.

A similar demonstration the previous Saturday led to the detention of 29 individuals, many of whom were arrested for holding signs with the same message.

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor has called for criminal prosecution of U.S. President Donald Trump, citing his alleged complicity in genocide through support for the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a controversial aid distribution mechanism operating in the besieged enclave.

In a statement issued from Geneva, the rights group urged international legal bodies to hold Trump accountable for backing GHF, which oversees aid sites where hundreds of Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in recent weeks.

The organization cited field testimonies indicating the involvement of private American security contractors, working alongside Israeli troops, in violent attacks against civilians seeking food and relief.

It further stated that the Trump administration had provided comprehensive military, financial, political, and diplomatic cover for Israel’s war in Gaza, enabling what it described as systematic crimes against humanity.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli attacks have killed over 57,882 Palestinians, including at least 17,131 children and 10,190 women, with over 138,095 wounded, the majority being children and women, according to health authorities. These figures remain incomplete, as many victims are still trapped under rubble or in unreachable areas.
