The genocide has left more than 183,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and a famine that claimed the lives of many, including children, in addition to widespread destruction .

On Saturday morning, the Israeli occupation committed a massacre targeting citizens waiting for food aid west of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. According to medical sources, the massacre resulted in the deaths of 12 citizens and the injury of more than 50 others .

Local sources said that citizens began rescuing the wounded and transporting the martyrs to Al-Shifa Hospital using civilian vehicles and animal-drawn carts .

The sources explained that dozens gathered in the “Sudaniya” area west of Beit Lahia after a rumor spread about trucks carrying aid from international organizations, hoping to obtain some of it, but the occupation’s artillery quickly targeted them .

At least 23 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured on Saturday morning in Israeli shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip, mainly in the center.

Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition directly at civilians near aid distribution points in the central Gaza Strip, killing approximately 15 civilians and wounding dozens more who were transferred to Al-Awda and Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospitals.

Medical sources reported that five martyrs arrived at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, two of whom succumbed to wounds sustained in an airstrike on a tent near Al-Khalidi Mosque, coinciding with artillery shelling east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.

Three civilians were killed when Israeli drones targeted a group of civilians near the Islamic University, south of Khan Yunis.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, the occupying power, has been waging a war of genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it .

The genocide left more than 182,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced people and a famine that claimed the lives of many, including children.

After five days with no internet throughout the Gaza Strip, crews were able to repair some lines on Saturday, restoring internet to some parts of the Gaza Strip. The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) announced on Saturday evening the gradual return of fixed-line telecommunications and internet services to Gaza and North Gaza, after a five-day outage.

The Authority said in a statement that the telecommunications company’s crews were able to repair some of the damage to the network’s main routes after completing the necessary arrangements for their movement, despite the significant challenges resulting from the direct and ongoing targeting of the telecommunications infrastructure by the Israeli occupation forces .

The TRC added, “This targeting is part of a systematic policy aimed at digitally and technologically isolating the Gaza Strip from the outside world, which has led to a near-total collapse of the humanitarian and relief system and impacted the functioning of all vital sectors in Gaza.”

The Authority affirmed that its efforts are continuing at full capacity, both locally and internationally, to ensure the full restoration of telecommunications services in all governorates and regions of the Gaza Strip, thus contributing to supporting the resilience of citizens and ensuring the minimum standards of living and basic services .

For its part, the Palestinian Telecommunications Company announced that its crews are continuing to work under complex security conditions, and are doing their utmost to restore services to the central and southern Gaza Strip.

Later, the company announced that its crews had succeeded in restoring fixed internet and landline services in the central and southern Gaza Strip, after extensive efforts despite difficult field conditions.

The Ministry of Telecommunications and Digital Economy announced last Thursday a complete outage of internet and fixed-line communications services in the Gaza Strip. This disruption occurred as a result of the failure of the remaining main route of the fiber optic network connecting the Strip to the outside world, in addition to the disruption of alternative routes that had previously been out of service. The disruption occurred as the occupation continues to prevent technical crews from accessing the network to conduct the necessary maintenance work to restore service .

Since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, telecommunications and internet services have been cut off several times in the Strip or across large areas of it, due to intense Israeli bombardment or the depletion of fuel used to operate electric generators.
