On Monday, the Israeli army continued its bombing and shelling of various parts of the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, including many children and women, with a particular focus on Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
Update: The army fired a shell at a tent, housing a displaced family in Asda’ area, northwest of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, killing two Palestinians and wounding two others.
The army also fired a shell at a tent in the Sawarha area, in the Zawaida town in central Gaza, killing one Palestinian and wounding several others.
Medical sources reported that the army fired a missile at a home belonging to the Miqdad family in the Khan Younis refugee camp, killing four Palestinians and injuring many others.
Additionally, a missile strike targeted the center of Khan Younis city, resulting in the deaths of at least six Palestinians and leaving many others injured.
In the Wad Saber area of Abasan Al-Kabira town, east of Khan Younis, the army launched a missile at a home belonging to the Najjar family, killing at least two Palestinians and injuring several others, including children.
The Israeli occupation army issued warnings early Monday morning, ordering Palestinians in Rafah and other areas in southern Gaza to evacuate their homes ahead of planned attacks.
Israeli Army spokesperson Avichai Adraee stated that the military demanded the immediate evacuation of homes in Rafah, as well as in the Al-Manara and Qizan Al-Najjar areas east of Khan Younis.
The army also fired numerous artillery shells at several areas in Rafah, located in Gaza’s southernmost region.
In central Gaza, shelling targeted the Al-Musaddar village, killing three Palestinians and wounding several others.
A child was injured when an Israeli military quadcopter drone dropped a bomb in the yard of a UNRWA-run school in Al-Bureij refugee camp, where dozens of families had sought shelter.
In the Zawaida area and Al-Maghazi refugee camp, also in central Gaza, two Palestinians were killed and several others injured during Israeli bombardments.
In Jabalia, northern Gaza, artillery shells struck Ezbet Abed-Rabbu, east of the city, killing several Palestinians, including Mohammad Amin Abu Freij, 16, and Nasser Yasser Abu Freij, 12.
On Sunday evening, nine Palestinians, including children, were killed and many others injured when the army fired a missile at an apartment in Hamad City, north of Khan Younis.
Medical sources confirmed the deaths of Ahmad Hussein Abu Al-Eish, 34, his wife Aya Jabr Abu Al-Eish, 33, their children Karim, 7, Majd, 8, and Mayan, 3, as well as the grandmother, Hala Al-Hajj, 59, and her son, Ibrahim Jabr Al-Haj, 28.
Since the resumption of the Israeli genocide in Gaza on March 18, 2025, until late Saturday, the Israeli army has killed more than 921 Palestinians and injured over 2,054, the majority of whom are children and women.
On Sunday, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza performed Eid al-Fitr prayers amidst the rubble of destroyed mosques, in shelters, and beside their demolished homes.
The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that the army killed more than 64 Palestinians, mostly children and women, and injured dozens on the first day of Eid al-Fitr, Monday marks the second day.
On the 14th day following the resumption of the offensive in Gaza, Israeli airstrikes have killed more than 76 Palestinians, including women and children, across various parts of the Strip since early Sunday.
Meanwhile, Gaza’s Civil Defense recovered the bodies of 15 missing personnel in the Tel Sultan neighborhood of Rafah.
Among the deceased were nine paramedics from the Red Crescent, five Civil Defense members, and one UNRWA employee.
The Civil Defense accused Israeli forces of carrying out field executions, while Gaza’s Ministry of Health reported that some of the bodies were found bound. Both organizations have called for an urgent international investigation into the incident.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has killed at least 50,349 Palestinians, including 17,492 children, 9,802 women, and 230 journalists, and injured more than 114,095, primarily children and women, in the Gaza Strip. At least 11,160 remain missing, largely under the rubble of destroyed streets and alleys across the coastal enclave.
