Updated: The Israeli occupation army continues its siege and aggression on Jenin, Tulkarem, and Tubas as part of an ongoing military offensive initiated on January 21st in the northern, northwestern and northeastern parts of the occupied West Bank.
Update: Alongside its offensive on the Jenin refugee camp, the Israeli military executed invasions last night in several towns within the Jenin governorate, including Qabatia, Burqin, and Al-Silah Al-Harithiya.
Local sources indicated on Friday that the Israeli military has been demolishing homes in the Jenin camp, with their operation now in its 18th day.
Numerous explosions were reported in the camp as houses were destroyed by the military, which has also intensified its drone surveillance and deployed more forces around the area.
The Israeli military continues its large-scale aggression in Tulkarm city and its refugee camp for the 12th consecutive day, causing significant damage to the infrastructure.
In recent days, the Israeli military has detained numerous residents and displaced hundreds of families. Four Palestinians have been killed and several others injured, including a child and a journalist.
Additionally, the Israeli military has converted Palestinian homes in Tulkarm and its camp into military posts after evacuating the residents.
For six days in a row, the Israeli military has persisted with its operation in the town of Tammun and the Al-Far’a camp in the Tubas governorate, conducting searches of Palestinian homes in Tammun under the cover of aerial surveillance.
Drone strikes continue in various parts of the town, with residents reporting shortages of essential supplies, near-total electricity outages, and ongoing arrests with field interrogations.
In tandem with their assault on the Jenin refugee camp, the Israeli army conducted massive invasions of homes and buildings overnight in several towns within the Jenin governorate, including Qabatia, Burqin, and Silat al-Harithiya.
Media sources reported, Friday, that Israeli forces have demolished many homes in the Jenin refugee camp, with the military onslaught now stretching into its 18th day.
Multiple explosions were heard as the army destroyed houses, while additional forces were deployed around the camp, supported by intensive drone surveillance.
For twelve consecutive days, the Israeli army has continued a comprehensive military offensive in the city of Tulkarem and Tulkarem refugee camp, involving extensive infrastructure destruction.
In recent days, dozens of residents have been abducted, hundreds of families have been forced to leave their homes, and four Palestinians, including a child and a journalist, have been killed.
The Israeli army has converted Palestinian homes in Tulkarem and Tulkarem refugee camp into military outposts after forcing residents to evacuate.
The army continued its assault on Tammun and Al-Far’a refugee camp for the sixth day amidst massive destruction of property and infrastructure, in addition to the ongoing invasions of homes and displacement of the families to use their homes as interrogation centers and military posts.
Also, Israeli soldiers shot a Palestinian in Tammun before Palestinian medics rushed him to a hospital after he suffered fragment wound injuries to his shoulder.
The Israeli military continues to bomb various locations in the town using drones, with residents reporting severe shortages of food supplies and near-total power outages. Additionally, there are ongoing abductions and field interrogations of scores of Palestinians.
In related news, the Jenin Battalion of the Al-Quds Brigades announced that its fighters detonated an explosive device in an Israeli military vehicle near the entrance of Silat al-Harithiya early Friday morning.
The Palestinian Health Ministry has reported that the Israeli army has killed more than 70 Palestinians, including 10 children, in several parts of the occupied West Bank since the beginning of this year, and added that at least 38 of the slain Palestinians were killed in Jenin.
A correspondent with Al-Jazeera stated that “Following the ceasefire in Gaza declared on January 19, Israel has undertaken extensive military operations in the West Bank. While Israel asserts that these actions align with their objective of targeting armed Palestinians, Palestinians report that civilians are bearing the brunt of the Israeli army’s operations.”
