On Tuesday, Israeli forces abducted a foreign activist and many Palestinian citizens, including children, in several areas of the occupied West Bank.
Nablus
Media sources said that occupation forces invaded and searched several citizens’ homes in the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, in the northern West Bank, and abducted the young man, Mohammad Musa Darwish.
Ramallah
Media sources said that occupation forces abducted three Palestinian children identified as Mahmoud Sufyan Nakhleh, 15, and the brothers, Karim and Ibrahim Jbeil, 15, after invading the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah.
Sources added that the army stormed the Al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of the city, and abducted the citizen, Zuhair al-Najjar, 37, and his son, Nour Zuhair al-Najjar, 15, in addition to the two brothers, Fayez and Salah al-Tirawi, 15, and Nabil Abu Hamad, 15.
Occupation forces also invaded the villages of Ras Karkar and Aboud, northwest of Ramallah, and the town of Ni’lin, west of the city; no arrests were reported.
Israeli soldiers invaded the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah and the village of Burqa, east of the city, in the central occupied West Bank.
Also, northwest of Ramallah city, the army invaded the villages of Deir Nitham, Ajul, Umm Safa, and Deir As-Sudan; no arrests were reported.
Occupation forces stormed the village of Kafr Malik, while infantry units patrolled the streets; no arrests were reported.
After invading the city of Al-Biereh, east of Ramallah, Israeli soldiers broke into several commercial shops and confiscated surveillance recordings; no arrests were reported.
Occupied Jerusalem
In the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, Israeli forces abducted the child, Majd Ihab Badr Younis Zaghir, 14, after storming his family’s home.
Soldiers also invaded the town of Al-Ram, north of Jerusalem, detained several citizens and subjected them to interrogation, while firing tear gas canisters at citizens and their homes; no injuries or arrests were reported.
In Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the army abducted the young man, Mahmoud Al-Abbasi, while he was at his workplace in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, east of occupied Jerusalem.
Bethlehem
Media sources said that Israeli forces invaded the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, broke into several citizens’ homes, and detained at least 20 Palestinians, subjecting them to interrogation before releasing them.
In the town of Al-Khader, southwest of Bethlehem, occupation soldiers detained and assaulted a 13-year-old child, before releasing him, and fired tear gas canisters; no arrests or injuries were reported.
Hebron
Media sources said that Israeli forces detained and interrogated dozens of Palestinian citizens after storming the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank, and abducted an unknown number of them.
Sources added that the army abducted a French female activist in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood in the center of Hebron city and took her to the military camp in Tel Rumeida.
In a statement, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said that the Israeli occupation authorities have abducted at least 380 Palestinians since the ceasefire in Gaza came into effect, the majority of whom were abducted in the Jenin and Tubas governorates.
The statement added that in the Jenin governorate, the army has abducted at least 110 Palestinian young men, while it has abducted 28 citizens in the Tubas governorate, and 20 in the Tulkarem governorate.
