Palestinian agricultural engineer Yusuf Abu-Rabee, who initiated a vital project to feed the starving people in northern Gaza, was killed today in an Israeli airstrike on Beit Lahia.

Israel assassinated farmer Yousef Abu Rabee and his two colleagues today as they were delivering seedlings to his neighbors in the North. He was a true hero, resisting genocide in impossible circumstances. Farewell, my friend. To God we belong and to Him we Return.

Look at everything Yousef accomplished under constant siege and attack. These days him and his friends were rebuilding their farm, which was flattened by israel. In June, Yousef was almost killed by their bombing. He was only 24 years old.

I interviewed farmer Yousef Abo Rabee for an article on agriculture in Gaza to be published by @intifada soon. Israel just killed him.

Yousef was delivering fresh produce just today and then Israel targeted and killed him. My heart is absolutely shattered.
