BETHLEHEM, April 24, 2012 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday demolished an animal barn, razed surrounding land and destroyed a retaining wall in al-Khader, a town south of Bethlehem, under the pretext the barn and wall were built without a permit, according to a local activist.

Coordinator of the National Committee against the Apartheid Wall, Ahmad Salah, said an Israeli bulldozer protected by soldiers demolished the 160-square-meter animal barn owned by Mahmoud Salah and razed the land where the barn was built and wall fencing it.

He said that land owners in that area have been constantly harassed by the Israeli authorities demolishing homes and preventing residents from building in it in an attempt to seize the land to expand a nearby settlement.
