Lebanese Health Minister Firas Abiad announced on Monday evening that 356 Lebanese people were killed and more than 1246 others were injured, as a result of intensive Israeli airstrikes on large areas of Lebanon on Monday.
Minister Al-Abyad explained, in a press conference, that among those killed were 21 children, 39 women, and two medical workers from the ambulance teams.

For the first time, the Israeli occupation aircraft targeted the town of Qartaba in the Jbeil district and the town of Mayrouba in the Keserwan district in Mount Lebanon.
The Israeli occupation aircraft bombed the towns of Nabi Sheet, Talya, Al-Khader, Sahl Massa, Nabha, Al-Kanisah, Shamstar, Shaath, Hazrata, Baalbek, Brital, Riha and Younin in the eastern Bekaa .

The road leading from Zahrani towards Sidon witnessed traffic congestion due to the rush of cars trying to flee the Israeli bombardment. Palestinian refugees in the Beirut area have set up shelters and water stations for those displaced from the south.
Earlier this evening, Israeli occupation aircraft bombed the southern suburb of the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
The Lebanese News Agency reported that the occupation aircraft targeted a residential building in the Bir al-Abd area in the southern suburb with three missiles, noting that ambulances, civil defense and rescue teams rushed to the scene and transported a number of the wounded.
