On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers withdrew from the Al-Fawwar Refugee Camp, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, following an extensive invasion that began at dawn and lasted for over 13 hours, during which the army ransacked homes, assaulted, and abducted at least 30 Palestinians.

Media sources reported that Israeli soldiers imposed a comprehensive curfew throughout the refugee camp, confining all residents to their homes, with snipers positioned on rooftops, frequently firing live ammunition.

The sources added that the soldiers invaded more than 70 homes and commercial establishments in Al-Fawwar, assaulted many residents, conducted searches, and deliberately destroyed property. Soldiers also reportedly stole money and food supplies from the invaded homes and stores.

Local sources stated that the soldiers abducted more than 30 young men, detaining them in the home of Mahmoud Al-Khatib after forcing his family to leave the property.

The army turned the home into a temporary detention and interrogation center before releasing some detainees and transferring others to the military tower at the camp’s entrance, from where they were taken to an interrogation facility.

Some of the abducted Palestinians have been identified as Yousef Najjar, Saleh Nassar, Bajes Al-Janazra, Mohammad Abu Fada, Shaker Abu Fidda, Mohammad, Salah, and Nasr Aziz Al-Maghalsa, Talab Ghatasha, Mahmoud Ghatasha, Salama Al-Da’ajna, Bara’, Ayham, and Mohammed Badawi, Yusuf Abu Hashhash, Zuhair Ahmad Al-Titi, and Mohammed Wajih Al-Qawasma.

Additionally, the soldiers invaded a printing press owned by Yazan Al-Deeba, confiscating all its equipment, and seized several vehicles, smashing the windows of others.
