Israeli forces shot a Palestinian young man and abducted ten others, on Friday night and dawn Saturday, in the central West Bank governorate of Ramallah.

Before dawn on Friday, occupation forces shot and injured a Palestinian young man in the Qaddura refugee camp in the central West Bank city of Ramallah.

Media sources said that soldiers shot a Palestinian young man in the thigh with live ammunition and obstructed the ambulance crew’s ability to reach him.

Ambulance crews subsequently transported the wounded young man to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah.

Later it was reported that soldiers fired tear gas canisters towards citizens near the Palestine Medical Complex; no injuries were reported.

Sources added that soldiers invaded and searched the home of the citizen, Mohammad al-Rum, before abducting him from the Qaddura refugee camp.

Meanwhile, a large army force stormed, before dawn, the town of Silwad, northeast of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank, and deployed soldiers in several neighborhoods.

Palestine TV reported that occupation soldiers abducted the young man, Salah Yasser, after invading his home in Silwad town.

A video was published by Palestine TV, showing occupation forces storming the Al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah.

Another video showed Israeli soldiers abducting two unidentified young men from the Al-Jalazoun camp, at dawn.

Later, media sources said that occupation forces abducted eight Palestinian citizens after invading and searching their homes in the camp.

The abductees were identified as Mujahid Saed Al-Shani, Ali Omar Al-Orabi, Mustafa Ramadan Safi, Shadi Hassan Safi, Daoud Issa, Youssef Tawfiq Issa, Mohammad Yusri Zaid, and Mohammad Rajai Hamidat.

Palestine TV also published a video showing soldiers opening fire with live rounds during the incursion.

In the northern West Bank, Israeli troops invaded the town of Qusra, southeast of Nablus, on Thursday night, sparking protests among Palestinian youths.

Media sources said that soldiers opened fire with tear gas canisters and concussion grenades at those who resisted the incursion.

It was added that many citizens suffered the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation; they were treated by local medics at the scene.

In related news, an armed drone fired a missile at a site in the “Al-Salam” neighborhood in the city of Tulkarem in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.

Media sources said that before dawn Thursday, the military carried out a drone strike in the “Al-Salam” neighborhood, coinciding with a large explosion being heard in the city.

It was added that reconnaissance drones flew over the city, the Tulkarem refugee camp, and the Nur Shams camp, for several hours.
