The army fired missiles and shells at buildings and homes in the area between the City Council in Rafah, the Al-Awda Junction in the center of the city, and the Najma Square at the main entrance of the Shaboura refugee camp.

Furthermore, the army fired many artillery shells and missiles at the area of the former building of the Al-Quds Open University.

The army also fired many tanks shells and missiles at the Shouka area, the most densely populated in Rafah.

In addition, the army fired many shells at tents and make-shift shelters that were used by the displaced families in Rafah, before they fled the area.

Hundreds of Palestinian cars and trucks were seen leaving the eastern areas of Rafah, to reach the Al-Mawasi area in Khan Younis and in some cases, Deir Al-Balah, although the areas they are fleeing to have been severely bombed and destroyed during the ongoing Israel onslaught on Gaza.

According to sources at the Kuwait Hospital in Rafah, the only hospital that is still operational, although partially, at least 35 slain Palestinians and 129 wounded, were moved to the medical facility.

The Israeli army also continued the closure of the Rafah Border Terminal with Egypt, after its tanks and armored vehicles destroyed it, and occupied it.

It is worth mentioning that, after the Israeli army destroyed various parts of the Rafah Border Terminal and completely occupied it, a day earlier, all humanitarian aid entering Gaza through the border crossing ceased, which also means that all patients and seriously wounded Palestinians are unable to leave the Gaza Strip.

In Gaza City, medics, medical staff, and locals located, on Wednesday afternoon, the corpses of 49 Palestinians in a third mass grave inside the Shifa Hospital, west of the city.

Medical sources said the Palestinians are still looking for more slain Palestinians in the mass graves, and added that the number of found mass graves inside Gaza’s hospitals is seven; one in Kamal Adwan Hospital, three in the Shifa Medical Center, and three in Nasser Medical Center, with more than 520 slain Palestinians found in them, and many more are still to be found.

It is worth mentioning that in October of last year, 2023, after the army bombarded, invaded, and withdrew from Nasser Medical Center in Khan Younis, the Palestinians found the corpses of 395 Palestinians.

On Wednesday, Day 215 of the ongoing genocide of the Palestinians in the devastated Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells killed and injured dozens of Palestinians, including many children and women.

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said a mass grave was discovered at Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza containing the bodies of dozens of Palestinians, including women, children, and patients, executed by Israel.

Euro-Med added that it has documented around 140 mass graves in the Gaza Strip, since the start of the genocide.

In northern Gaza, the army fired shells at areas around the Indonesian Hospital in Jabalia, and homes and buildings in Beit Lahia, causing casualties.

A Palestinian father, his wife, and their five children were killed when the army fired a missile at their homes in a residential building for the Al-Loah family in the Asqoula area in the Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Medical sources have confirmed that the Israeli army killed Na’im Mohammad Al-Loah, his wife Susan, and their children, Ali, Mohammad, Karam, Sama, and Mais.

The sources added that the medics and rescue teams also evacuated many Palestinians to the Baptist hospital in Gaza after they were injured in the bombing of the Al-Loah family home.

At least one Palestinian was killed, and several others were injured by Israeli shells targeting many Palestinians on Street 8, south of Gaza City.

Many Palestinians were injured, some seriously, when the army fired shells and missiles at Al-Mufti Land, north of the Nusseirat refugee camp, in central Gaza, in addition to firing many shells at the Al-Musaddar nearby village.

In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army fired shells at Khuza’a town, east of the city, killing at least two women and wounding many Palestinians.

In Rafah, in Gaza’s southmost area, the army fired a missile at a motorcycle, near the Salahuddin Gate, south of the city, killing two Palestinians and wounding many others, some seriously.

Another Palestinian was killed and many were injured when the army fired artillery shells at the top floor of Qishta residential tower, in the center of Rafah City.

One Palestinian was killed and a few were injured in an Israeli shelling of an area, west of Rafah City.

After the Israeli army invaded the Rafah Border Terminal with Egypt and destroyed and occupied it, the army closed the main land crossing where humanitarian aid, wounded Palestinians, and patients were able to enter and leave the coastal enclave.

The United Nations said the closure would lead to a serious humanitarian crisis, especially since food supplies in the Gaza Strip are barely enough for four days.

Al-Jazeera said the army fired a missile near the old destroyed airport, east of Rafah, in addition to firing many shells during exchanges of fire with Palestinian fighters, east of the Salam neighborhood, in the easter part of the city.

The Israeli navy also fired dozens of live rounds at Palestinian families trying to shelter near the shore of Rafah.

On Wednesday, the army reopened the only commercial crossing in Gaza, Karem Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) after closing it for four days, preventing the entry of humanitarian aid.

Rafah, only about 65 square kilometers, is where more than 1.5 million Palestinians are trying to shelter after the Israeli army bombarded and destroyed the northern and central parts of the Gaza Strip are facing very difficult living conditions in tents and makeshift shelters without access to basic supplies and infrastructure that could accommodate those large numbers of families.

Israel has now killed more than 34.798 Palestinians, including more than 14.873 children and 9.801 women, and injured at least 34.789, mostly children and women, in addition to the thousands who remain buried under the rubble in several parts of the destroyed and devastated Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023.
