A Fourth Palestinian Died From the Israeli Attack on Jenin

On Wednesday evening, a Palestinian young man succumbed to his critical injury as a result of the Israeli drone bombing of the Jenin refugee camp on Wednesday morning.

According to medical sources at the Ibn Sina Hospital announced the death of Walid Louay Walid Al-Osta, 19, a resident of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

Al-Osta succumbed to critical injuries he sustained on Wednesday morning, when an armed Israeli drone fired a missile at a group of young men in front of a house in the Al-Damj neighborhood in the Jenin camp.

Two other young men were killed when an armed drone fired a missile at a group of young men in front of a house in the Al-Damj neighborhood in the Jenin camp.

The identities of the slain young men are Hamza Ar’arawi, 27, from Al-Ein refugee camp in Nablus, and Mohammad Nasser Sabti, 19, from the Jenin refugee camp.

During the attack on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, Israeli forces shot and killed the young man, Ayman Youssef Hassan Azouqa, 19.

On Wednesday afternoon, thousands of Palestinians gathered for the funeral of two of the slain young men, Mohammad Nasser Al-Sabti, 19, and Ayman Youssef Hassan Azouqa, 19, in Jenin.

The funeral procession began in front of the Jenin Governmental Hospital, while mourners carried the bodies on their shoulders, and roamed the streets of Jenin and its camp.

The two bodies were laid to rest in the two martyrs’ cemeteries in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, and the new cemetery in the Jenin camp.

In Nablus, the funeral procession for the slain young man, Hamza Hussam Ar’arawi, 27, began in front of Rafidia Hospital in the northern West Bank city of Nablus, while mourners carried the body to his final resting place in the Al-Ein refugee camp.

Updated: Earlier Wednesday, Israeli forces killed a Palestinian young man after shooting him with live fire, and assassinated two young men, after firing a missile from a drone at them, in the Jenin refugee camp, in the northern West Bank city of Jenin in addition to wounding seven Palestinians destroying infrastructure.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that the Israeli army has now killed three Palestinians in Jenin, after it earlier killed one.

The Health Ministry added that an Israeli military drone fired a missile at several young men in the Damj neighborhood in the Jenin refugee camp.

It identified the slain young men as Hamza Ar’arawi, 27, from the Al-Ein refugee camp in the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and Mohammad Nasser Sabti, 19, from the Jenin refugee camp.

It is worth mentioning that Hamza was an officer with the Palestinian Customs Police.

Earlier, Dr. Wissam Bakr, the director of the Jenin Governmental Hospital, the death of the young man, Ayman Youssef Hassan Azouqa, 19.

Bakr added that Azouqa died shortly after arrival to the hospital after Israeli forces shot him in the chest and thigh and delayed ambulance crews from being able to transport him to hospital.

Earlier, the army invaded the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, and stormed many citizens’ homes in several neighborhoods, which sparked protests among local Palestinian youths.

It was added that the army deployed sharpshooters on the rooftops of several buildings, while reconnaissance drones flew in the airspace above the city.

Later it was reported that the army bombed a vehicle near the Al-Razi Hospital in the Al-Marah neighborhood, while at least three young men, two of whom were identified as Osaid Abbas and Diya Abbas were abducted from inside the hospital.

Media sources added that several other citizens were detained, assaulted, and interrogated by occupation forces, before they were released.

Armed Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the attacking army and detonated crude explosive devices targeting military vehicles.

Armored bulldozers demolished infrastructure and streets in the Jabriyyat neighborhood, and on the outskirts of Jenin camp, causing severe damage to the water line supplying the camp.

Sharpshooters positioned on rooftops and inside citizens’ homes opened fire with live rounds towards Palestinians.
