Israeli forces abducted eight Palestinians near Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the West Bank, occupied Jerusalem, and Hebron in the southern West Bank.
On Tuesday evening, Israeli forces abducted a former prisoner, Izz al-Din Muhammad Abu Dayyah, 37, a citizen of the Nur Shams refugee camp, when he attempted to pass through a flying military roadblock east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the West Bank.
On Tuesday afternoon, the army invaded the homes of Majd Mahmoud and Aziz Alyan, in Al-‘Isawiya town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, before abducting them.
In the southern West Bank, occupation forces stormed the town of Doura, west of Hebron, and abducted Izz al-Din Jihad Abu Sharar, Jihad Younis Abdullah al-Awawda, and Imam Youssef Nassar.
South of Hebron, the army abducted Akl Fawzi Akl Mar in Yatta town, and a former prisoner, Ayesh Ahmed Murshid Awad, 36, in the town of Beit Ummar, north of the city.
In Beit Ummar town, broke into and ransacked many citizens’ homes, while local Palestinians protested the incursion.
Soldiers fired tear gas canisters at citizens, causing several people to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.
According to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), Israeli forces have abducted 7,800 Palestinians since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
