On Monday, Israeli forces abducted at least sixteen Palestinians, including a journalist and a former prisoner in various regions of the occupied West Bank, and conducted sabotage operations in Tulkarem and Nablus.
Qalqilia
In the northwestern part of the West Bank, occupation forces invaded the city of Qalqilia and carried out a search campaign which lasted several hours.
Soldiers stormed and searched several homes in the city and abducted Ziad Abu Assab, Abdel Qader Salmi, Adam Salmi, and Ahmed Shteiwi.
Nablus
Before dawn on Monday, a large army force invaded the eastern region of Nablus city in the northern West Bank, and the Balata refugee camp to the east.
Soldiers marched through the center of the camp and abducted at least one unidentified young man.
Salfit
In the central West Bank, Israeli forces broke into and ransacked the home of Abdul Aziz Musa Assi, before abducting him in the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, northwest of Salfit.
Ramallah
Israeli forces abducted six Palestinian citizens in the Ramallah governorate, in the central occupied West Bank, after breaking into and searching their homes.
Soldiers infiltrated the town of Deir Abu Mash’al northwest of Ramallah city, invaded and searched the homes of Muhammad Daoud Rabie Zahran, Yousef Saleh Rabie Zahran, Zaki Fayek Atta, and Muhammad Ibrahim Atta, before abducting them.
According to Palestine TV, occupation forces abducted former prisoner, Abdel Saeed Hammad in the “Al-Balou” neighborhood in the city of Al-Biereh, east of Ramallah, after breaking into and ransacking his home at dawn.
Occupied Jerusalem
According to the Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Jerusalem (Silwanic), the army invaded and ransacked the home of Mahmoud Muhannad Odeh, before abducting him in Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Hebron
In the southern West Bank city of Hebron, Israeli forces invaded several Palestinian-owned homes, on Monday morning, and abducted the young man, Yazid Hassan Abu Dawoud.
Palestine TV reported that Israeli soldiers abducted photojournalist, Hisham Abu Shaqrah, while he was working in the “Jabal Johar” neighborhood in Hebron city.
In the afternoon, Israeli forces chased Palestinian shepherds near the village of At-Tuwani in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, and abducted the citizen, Musa Hassan Al-Shawahin, while he was grazing his sheep.
According to the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), Israeli forces have abducted 7,530 Palestinians since the beginning of the military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
