On Saturday evening, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers, squatting on stolen Palestinian lands, invaded Burqa village, east of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank’s central part, burnt a home, two structures and several cars, and fired live rounds at homes.

Media sources said the paramilitary colonizers invaded the outskirts of the village, and hurled firebombs at a home owned by Najeh Mahmoud Somrain.

They added that the firebombs burnt parts of the property before the locals rushed and extinguished it before it spread.

The colonizers also burned a structure used for recycling and reusing car parts, owned by Mohammad Saber Ma’tan, and a barn owned by Ammar Saleh Asaliyya, in addition to torching and destroying several Palestinian-owned cars.

In addition, the colonizers fired many live rounds at Palestinian homes in the village, causing damage, before Israeli soldiers invaded the village and fired flares preventing Palestinian medics and firefighters from reaching the village.

In related news, a group of fanatic paramilitary colonizers attacked and occupied a Palestinian park in Qaryout village, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.

Earlier Saturday, the colonizers, accompanied by many soldiers, invaded and occupied the only spring used by the Palestinians in Qaryout

Also, a group of colonizers attacked employees and workers of the Thaher Al-Abed Village Council in the Ya’bad area, west of Jenin in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, detained them, and held their equipment to prevent them from preparing agricultural roads, before forcing them to leave at gunpoint.

On Friday, the colonizers carried out several attacks against Palestinian citizens in various areas of the occupied West Bank.

Also Friday, a group of fanatic paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded Palestinian lands near Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, and set up a new colonialist outpost.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
