At dawn on Tuesday, Israeli forces abducted thirty Palestinian workers from the Gaza Strip, in the town of Barta’a, northwest of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank.
Media sources reported that soldiers stormed a residential building near the industrial zone, and detained many Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank.
It was added that at a later time, the West Bank workers were released, while the army invaded and ransacked several other homes.
The identities of the Gaza workers who were abducted were not provided.
In related news, the army invaded, on Tuesday, the village of Jalboun, east of Jenin, erected a military roadblock at its entrance, impeding citizens’ movements, deployed an infantry squad, and stormed several homes.
The military also positioned units in many towns and villages northeast of Jenin.
On Monday evening, the army invaded the village of Jalboun, which sparked protests among local Palestinian youths.
Soldiers fired many live rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters, causing several young men to sustain inhalation injuries.
Northeast of the city, the army invaded Faqqu’a village, northeast of the city, and conducted a large-scale search operation.
