On Wednesday, Day 124 of the ongoing Israeli onslaught and genocidal bombings of civilian areas, Israeli missiles and shells killed dozens of Palestinians, including women and children, and injured many more, in several parts of the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the army “committed 12 massacres against Palestinian families in Gaza over the last 24 hours, killing 107 Palestinians and wounding more than 143.”

The Israeli bombing targeted many areas in Rafah, in the eastern, southern, and western parts, especially in areas near the perimeter fence where dozens of families fled.

In the Tal Al-Sultan area in Rafah, the army fired missiles and shells at many homes, killing and wounding several Palestinians, including a journalist from the Abu Ghali family along with his mother and his sister.

The army also fired a missile at a home of the Khaffaja family near the Al-Qadisiya School, in Tal Al-Sultan, killing Ayyoub Yahia Hamad Khaffaja.

Also in Rafah, Israeli missiles killed a woman from the Arsan and her child in the Zohour neighborhood, bringing the number of slain Palestinians to twelve, in addition to many injuries, in just a few hours.

The Qatar-based Al-Jazeera said the Israeli Air Force is conducting extensive aerial strikes, and creating massive fire belts in areas north of Rafah.

Al-Aqsa Satellite TV said the army is firing dozens of artillery shells, tank shells, and missiles targeting all areas east of Rafah, while Israeli navy ships fired many missiles into Palestinian areas near the border with Egypt.

Over the past several days, the Israeli army has been threatening to invade Rafah where at least 1.400.000, including those who fled northern and central Gaza, are sheltering in make-shift camps, under the cold, and without basic supplies or any infra-structure.

In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the army fired missiles at homes in the city, killing three Palestinians, including one woman, and wounding many others.

At least 14 Palestinians were killed and dozens were injured, when the army fired shells at the Hinnawi School where dozens of families sheltered, in the Al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Younis.

Furthermore, the army forced the patients to leave the Al-Amal Hospital of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Khan Younis.

A Video published on Twitter shows Palestinian medics pushing the hospital bed of an ailing elderly woman, trying to find another place for her amidst the ongoing Israeli onslaught.

The Israeli army also fired barrages of missiles and shells targeting areas between Khan Younis and Rafah, causing extensive damage to homes, buildings, streets, and infrastructure, causing many casualties.

Israeli drones fired live rounds at Palestinians trying to shelter Juhr Ed-Deek area, in Central Gaza, and in Gaza City, killing at least five Palestinians and wounding many.

In northern Gaza, the army fired a missile at a home for the Ash-Shanti family, east of the Jabalia refugee camp, killing Dr. Taha Al-Shanti , the General Director of Private Medicine at the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza, and his entire family of at least ten Palestinians and wounding ten others, mainly women and children.

Furthermore, Israeli army sharpshooters killed thirteen Palestinians in several parts of Gaza City amidst the ongoing invasion and the pushing of more tanks and troops into the area.

The Israeli army also destroyed two buildings of the Al-Aqsa University In Gaza after firing missiles at them.

The University and its surrounding neighborhoods have been subject to massive Israeli bombing and shelling campaigns.

Meanwhile, the Netanyahu-led extreme right-wing government in Tel Aviv and the Israeli spy agency (Mossad) said they received, through mediators, the counterproposal from Hamas regarding a potential truce deal.

However, Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and his extreme coalition partners who are keeping him afloat, have repeatedly said that Israel will continue its war on Gaza “until the defeat of Hamas and other factions,” and are refusing any withdrawal from the coastal enclave.

Hamas movement said its response was presented “in a positive spirit,” and that it wants a complete ceasefire, ending the aggression on the Palestinian people, lifting the siege on the coastal enclave, in addition to ensuring relief, shelter, and reconstruction of the destroyed Gaza Strip, and achieving a prisoner-swap agreement.

However, Netanyahu, who is yet to make an official comment on the response, said: “We are nearing a total victory in Gaza, and will not stop the war.” One of Netanyahu’s and his government’s objectives in this war is the stated goal of “eliminating Hamas.”

While the exact numbers are higher than the confirmed deaths and injuries due to ongoing bombing and shelling of various parts of the Gaza Strip, the Health Ministry said the Israeli army has killed at least 27.585 Palestinians, including 11.500 children, and injured more than 66.978, mostly civilians, including women and children.

More than 8.000 Palestinians, including women and children, remain missing, largely buried under the rubble of bombarded homes and buildings in several parts of the coastal enclave.
