Undercover Israeli forces assassinated, before dawn on Tuesday, three Palestinian young men, one of whom was a patient, after infiltrating a hospital in the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
Media sources said that at least ten undercover Israeli soldiers, dressed as medical personnel, infiltrated the Ibn Sina Hospital and executed three Palestinian young men with silenced pistols.
Armed Palestinian resistance fighters discovered the presence of undercover forces and exchanged fire with them in front of the hospital.
One of the slain young men, identified as Basil Ayman Al-Ghazawi was a patient in the hospital after he sustained a spinal cord injury after a missile strike in Jenin on October 25, 2023.
Israeli special forces assassinated the young man’s brother, Mohammad Ayman Al-Ghazawi, and Mohammad Walid Jalamna who were asleep in the hospital room.
During the invasion, the soldiers assaulted Jamal Qandeel, a Palestinian paramedic who works for the Palestinian Medical Relief Society, before detaining him.
The invading soldiers also stormed and ransacked several homes and interrogated the Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.

Israeli forces killed three Palestinians at the Ibn Sina Hospital in the West Bank city of Jenin on Tuesday night.
According to a statement by the Israeli security forces, a joint force killed an armed squad of Hamas members who had been hiding in the hospital, and planned an attack in the imminent future.
A video allegedly showing the raid shared on social media shows undercover Israeli soldiers as they were storming the hospital dressed as medical staff.
According to hospital sources, an Israeli force dressed in civilian clothes entered the third floor of the medical institution and shot the three Palestinians with a silencer.
The deceased were identified as Basil Ayman Al-Ghazawi, who was hospitalized after being wounded three months ago in an air strike of a cemetery in Jenin; his brother Mohammad Ayman Al-Ghazawi, and another Palestinian named Mohammad Walid Jalamna. The three were members of the Jenin Brigades, a local militant group.
According to the Israeli statement, Jalamna was affiliated with Hamas' military wing and was in contact with Hamas headquarters abroad, transferring weapons and ammunition to terrorists and was planning a raid on Israeli settlements inspired by the Hamas attack on October 7.
The statement further added that Mohammad Al-Ghazawi was active in the Jenin Brigades and his brother Basil was a member of the Islamic Jihad.
Israeli security establishment said the three were settled in a hospital room, which they used to plan terrorist activity. It is still unclear, however, whether officials at the institution helped hide them.
The three were defined as a "ticking bomb" in light of information according to which they planned an attack on one of the settlements in the West Bank using a car rigged with explosives, and targeting the local security team and residences.
According to the deputy director of Ibn Sina Hospital, Basil Ayman Al-Ghazawi has been hospitalized consecutively since he was wounded in October and suffered from partial paralysis of the lower body. Bassel's brother and another escort stayed by his side during the night.
One of the medical staff at Ibn Sina hospital, who witnessed the Israeli raid, told Haaretz that the video shared on social media shows the forces retreating from the medical institution, after killing the three wanted persons.
According to him, no one at the hospital noticed the forces entering the compound. "They entered individually, one was dressed as a woman, another as an old man, a third as a staff member, one was holding an infant seat," he described. "After they assembled on the third floor, they went into the room where the three were, shot them at point-blank and left," he said, adding that in that same ward, another ten were hospitalized, but none were harmed.
Another witness said that only a few of the forces entered the room and shot the wanted persons, while the others spread over the hospital, and the main entrance, to prevent any disturbances.
Since the start of the fighting in Gaza, the Israeli security establishment has detected attempts by Hamas members abroad to develop terror infrastructure in the West Bank, due to the difficulty of transferring funds and means of warfare to the Gaza Strip.
In response to the killing of the three, Hamas said, "it is a vile crime that will not go without response. The resistance forces, who have sworn to fight the occupation until it is expelled, are not afraid of the assassination policy."
The Jenin cemetery air strike which wounded Basil Ayman Al-Ghazawi killed four Palestinian youths, including a 15-year-old boy, and wounded about 20 others. In a statement at the time, the IDF said that a military drone attacked armed men who threw Molotov cocktails, fired and threw explosives at an IDF unit which entered the Jenin refugee camp to arrest two Palestinians suspected of terrorism. According to reports in the city, the four killed in the October strike were members of the Jenin Brigades.
