On Saturday, the Israeli army abducted five Palestinian residents of the northern West Bank Jenin governorate, assaulted others, and seized a privately-owned motorcycle.
Israeli forces abducted, on Saturday afternoon, four citizens of the Jenin governorate in the northern West Bank, at two military roadblocks.
Media sources said that soldiers abducted Anas Abu Hanana when he attempted to pass through a military roadblock near the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
Meanwhile, east of Tubas in the northeastern part of the West Bank, soldiers abducted Ibrahim Riyad Turkman, Nawras Lutfi Awadin, and Laith Waked when they tried to pass through the Tayasir military roadblock.
Later, the army set up flying military roadblocks in the vicinity of the towns and villages of Ya’bad and Kufeirat, west of Jenin, in addition to Arraba, Ajjah, Anza, and Jaba’, southwest of the city.
Soldiers stopped and searched citizens’ vehicles, while inspecting the identities of their occupants, impeding their movement.
It was added that the soldiers assaulted several young men near Ya’bad, Kufeirat, Arraba, and Mirka, and also ripped photos of slain Palestinians and prisoners in the village of Anza and the town of Ajjah.
Furthermore, on Saturday night the occupation army invaded the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin and stormed several neighborhoods, triggering protests, while soldiers fired live ammunition at those who resisted the incursion.
At a military roadblock near Arraba, southwest of the city, the army abducted a citizen of the Jenin refugee camp, identified as Mohammad Amin Salahat.
Moreover, soldiers also confiscated a motorcycle belonging to Ahmad Nasser Nasr at a military roadblock in the town of Ajjah, southwest of the city.
