Israeli forces stormed, in the predawn hours of Thursday, the northern West Bank city of Jenin, abducted at least eleven Palestinians and destroyed infrastructure.

Before dawn Thursday, a large army force, including military bulldozers, carried out a wide-scale incursion into the city of Jenin.

Media sources said that at least thirty military vehicles, in addition to a D-9 military bulldozer and front-end loader stormed the city and its refugee camp from the three major streets.

Soldiers were deployed in several neighborhoods in the city, while armed resistance fighters engaged in intense exchange of fire with the invading army, and targeted armored vehicle with crude explosive devices.

During the incursion the army fired many live rounds, tear gas canisters, smoke bombs, and fired flares in the sky over the city.

In a massive search operation, the army broke into many citizens’ homes, occupying several homes, turning them into military posts.

In the eastern and the Al-Marah neighborhoods, soldiers abducted Aws Kahil Sakran, Ahmed Rabie Nassar, Bahaa Al-Absi, Murad Soukieh, Bakr Khamaysa, Hosni Younis, Muhammad Mahmoud Qama’a, Loay Jihad Al-Shalabi, Muhammad Ziyad Al-Shalabi, Ibrahim Hasis, and Hamoudi Al-Arsan.

Military bulldozers destroyed several streets in various neighborhoods, destroyed street vendor carts, and damaged many privately-owned vehicles.

It is important to mention that since the beginning of the Israeli military onslaught against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2024, the occupation army has carried out more that thirty-five incursions into the city of Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp.
