On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers killed five Palestinians in Tulkarem and the Tulkarem refugee camp in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, injured many, including a medic, interrogated dozens of Palestinians, attacked reporters, and detonated a home.

Update: The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said Israeli soldiers attacked its ambulances and medics in Tulkarem and abducted five medics: Hamza Shreim, Issam Abu Issa, Nimir Fayyat, Mohammad Damiri, and Mohammad Abu Dayya.

The PRCS added that one of its medics, Fathi Nasrallah, was injured by shrapnel from Israeli bullets in the ear, bringing the number of wounded medics to three after the army injured Safiyya Balbeesi in her arm, and Abdullah Nu’eirat who suffered fractures to his leg.

The Palestinian Health Ministry has confirmed that the slain Palestinians were identified as:

Ahmad Tareq No’man Faraj, 18.
Walid Ibrahim Mohammad Ghanem, 17.
Ahmad Mousa Mutlaq Baddu, 17.
Ahmad Mo’in Thieb Mahdawi, 35.
Ashraf Ahmad Yassin, 22.

The Health Ministry said Yassin was killed in Izbat Al-Jarad in Tulkarem after many Israeli military vehicles invaded it.

Eyewitnesses said the army fired many live rounds at a car Yassin was driving, killing him, and wounding his brother, 13, with live rounds in the arm and the shoulder and another young man in the leg.

Palestinian medics rushed to the area, but the soldiers stopped them and refused to allow them to reach the Palestinians until a while later.

The army also attacked many Palestinian journalists, including the Palestine TV crew, while trying to force them to leave the invaded area.

The soldiers fired live rounds at Palestinian medics, causing two to suffer shrapnel wounds in the arm and the leg.

One of the wounded medics, Abdullah Nu’eirat, was injured in his leg, and the second medic, Safiyya Balbeesi, was injured in her arm.

The invasion of Tulkarem and its refugee camp began at approximately 4:30 at dawn Wednesday before the soldiers stormed and ransacked dozens of homes, causing serious damage.

The soldiers also used some homes as military posts and interrogation facilities after forcing the families out of their properties.

In addition, Israeli military bulldozers destroyed streets, infrastructure, and shops in the Al-Mahjar and Al-Manshiyya neighborhoods in Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem, and occupied a home for Nimir Sabarini in Thannaba Suburb.

During the invasion of the Tulkarem refugee camp, the soldiers wired and detonated the home of Azmi Al-Ghanem after forcing the family out, destroying the property and causing damage to surrounding homes.

In addition, the army detained dozens of Palestinians in the refugee camp and the areas around it.

On Wednesday, an Israeli military drone fired a missile at a Palestinian car near the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, killing five Palestinians, including two siblings.

The slain Palestinians have been identified as Saif and his brother, Yazan Najmi, and Mohammad Al-Qattawi; all were also former political prisoners, in addition to Abdullah Abu Shallal and Mahmoud Abu Hamdan.
