Israeli forces shot and killed, on Saturday, a Palestinian child after invading the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilia in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank.
On Saturday afternoon Israeli forces invaded the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilia, sparking protests among local Palestinian youths.
Soldiers opened fire with live ammunition and tear gas canisters shooting the child, Mahmoud Bassem Abu Haniyeh, 17, in the back with live rounds.
Medical crews transported the injured child to hospital where his condition was deemed serious.
Shortly after arrival to hospital, the Ministry of Health announced that Abu Haniyeh had succumbed to his life-threatening wounds.
In related news, a Palestinian young man succumbed to serious gunshot wounds, as a result of the Israeli army’s military assault against the Al-Fara’a refugee camp, south of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
The Ministry of Health announced, on Saturday, Rami Jamal Al-Jandab, 25, after he sustained a critical gunshot wound inflicted on him on Friday, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed by the occupation forces’ attack to seven, including a 14-year-old child.
Earlier Saturday, Israeli forces invaded the town of Doura south of the southern occupied West Bank city of Hebron, stormed a Palestinian-owned home and opened fire with live rounds, seriously injuring Sari Yousef Abdul-Qader Amro, 25.
Occupation forces dragged the critically injured young man out of the home, denied him any medical care and abducted him.
Later the Palestinian District Coordination Office was notified by the occupation army that Amro had succumbed to his life-threatening wounds.
