In just twenty-four hours since Israeli resumed in bombing of civilian areas, homes, and residential buildings in the Gaza Strip, Israeli missiles and shells have killed at least 200 Palestinians and injured more than 589.

The Israeli army continued the firing of missiles and shells from the air, land, and sea, intensifying its shelling of civilian areas overnight, especially the eastern, central, and western areas of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the coastal region.

The Israeli missiles continuously struck many neighborhoods in the densely populated coastal region, resulting in large numbers of casualties.

Israeli missiles struck and destroyed Abdullah Azzam Mosque, west of Khan Younis, and at least four homes for the Al-Farra family in the Al-Qarara area, northeast of Khan Younis, and the Istiqama Mosque in the city.

Al-Qarara was subject to 50 Israeli air strikes in less than five minutes, where the army bombed homes, residential buildings, public facilities, and infrastructure.

In just twenty-four hours since Israel rejected the extension of the humanitarian truce in Gaza, Israeli missiles and shells have killed at least 200 Palestinians and wounded more than 589; most of the slain and wounded Palestinians are children and women.

While Khan Younis wasn’t the only targeted area of the Gaza Strip, it was the target of intense Israeli bombings.

In Deir Al-Balah, in central Gaza, the army exchanged fire with Palestinian resistance fighters and fired missiles at a home for the Abu Nada family in the al-Jneina neighborhood, east of the city, killing at least fifty Palestinians and wounding dozens.

Furthermore, the Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, the army fired a missile at a home in the city, killing six Palestinians, including four children.

In Gaza City, the army killed at least five Palestinians from one family in the Salahuddin Street area, although they carried white flags and were trying to seek shelter elsewhere.

In the Tal Al-Hawa area, specifically in the Asqoula neighborhood, south of Gaza City, the army fired missiles at homes for the Ashour and the Al-Susi families, killing and wounding dozens who remained under the rubble while rescue operators and volunteers have been unable to reach the area due to the intense Israeli bombings.

By the end of Friday, the number of slain Palestinians was at least 15,000, including 6,150 children and more than 4,000 women, and more than 36,000 injured Palestinians, mainly women and children, the 50-day-long bombardment of Gaza, starting October 7.

The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate said Israel has now killed 67 journalists in the Gaza Strip since October 7.

It stated that, on Friday, Israeli missiles killed Dr. Adham Hassouna, who teaches at several universities in Gaza, Photojournalist Abdullah Darwish, and Photojournalist Montaser Sawwaf.

Furthermore, Israel refused to allow humanitarian, including medical aid to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah Border Terminal for the second day and is refusing to allow seriously wounded Palestinians to leave the coastal region for treatment in Egypt or elsewhere.

During the seven-day truce, the army released 147 imprisoned Palestinian children and 63 women, most of whom were abducted after October 7.

The army also abducted more than 260 Palestinians in several parts of the occupied West Bank, including the occupied capital, Jerusalem, in the same timeframe, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) and the Palestinian Detainees’ Committee have confirmed.
