On Saturday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted fourteen Palestinians from Nablus, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, including three who turned themselves in to the army after the army took their family hostage.
Media sources said the soldiers abducted eleven Palestinians from the Old Askar Refugee Camp (Askar Al-Qadim) and the New Askar Refugee Camp (Askar Al-Jadid) after storming and ransacking their homes.
The abductees are Aziz Abu Sa’ada, Rakan Shobaki, Thaer Qandil, Mohammad Mahe Al-Ajjouri, Mahdi Marshoud, Sameh Araysha, Mahmood Esleem, Mohammad Zani Abdah, Ghassan Abu Salem, Abu Jihad Sharqawi and Abu Yousef Sharqawi.
Furthermore, three Palestinians surrendered to the army at the Salem military roadblock after the soldiers took members of their families hostage.
In related news, the soldiers assaulted a Palestinian, causing various wounded, and prevented ambulances from entering the two refugee camps.
On Saturday morning, Israeli soldiers invaded Qabatia town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, leading to protests, before killing Dr. Shamekh Kamal Abu Ar-Rob, 25, and wounding his brother and another young man.
