On Monday, Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian teenage boy after he allegedly stabbed and injured two Israeli Border Police officers near Bab As-Sahera in the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank.

The slain Palestinian has been identified as Mohammad Omar Al-Froukh, 16 years of age, from the Al-Isawiya town in East Jerusalem.

Israeli sources claimed that the soldiers shot Mohammad after he allegedly stabbed two border police officers in their twenties.

Mohammad is the cousin Mujahed Nimir Al-Froukh, 32, whom Israeli gunmen killed on October 8 while working in Israel and his family kept looking for him until Thursday November 9 when they were officially informed of his death.

Israeli daily Haaretz said one of the wounded officers, a woman in her twenties, suffered critical injuries before she and a male officer were rushed to Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem.

Haaretz noted that while the Israeli police said the Palestinian stabbed the officers, however, paramedics of the Israeli Magen David Adom emergency services said the two were shot.

Israeli Ynet News said the first report about the incident came at 08:12 in the morning, regarding two injured persons because of a suspected shooting incident, but it became clear later that it was a stabbing attack.

Following the incident, dozens of soldiers were deployed in the area and various parts of Jerusalem, especially in and around the Old City.

The soldiers also closed all gates leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque but reopened them later.

Furthermore, Haaretz stated that the soldiers abducted a student at a nearby school on suspicion of aiding the Palestinian who attacked the officers.

After killing him, the soldiers invaded Mohammad’s family’s home in the Al-Isawiya town in Jerusalem and abducted mother and his sister.

Furthermore, the soldiers closed with concrete blocks the Ar-Rashid Street area in the vicinity where Mohammad was killed, the Wadi Hilweh Information Center In Silwan (Silwanic) has reported.

Also Monday morning, the soldiers killed Mahmoud Ahmad Al-Atrash, 20, in Halhoul town, north of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.

On Sunday, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the death of a teenage boy, Rami Ezz Mousa Odah, 17, whom Israeli soldiers shot and seriously injured a few days earlier near occupied Jerusalem in the West Bank.

On Sunday morning, Israeli soldiers killed Ahmad Habes Dababsa, 22, and injured his brother in Nouba Palestinian village northwest of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part.

Also Sunday, the soldiers invaded Abu Dis town, east of the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem, in the West Bank, killed three young Palestinian men and injured six, including three who suffered serious wounds, in addition to demolishing parts of a home.

The slain Palestinians are Nabil Abdul-Rauf Halabiyya, 20, Mousa Dia’ Mousa Zarour, 22, and Mohannad Ahmad Affana, 20.

Israeli soldiers have killed 156 Palestinians, including children, in several parts of the occupied West Bank since October 7th.

In the Gaza Strip, at least 9770 Palestinians, including 4008 children and 2550 women, have been killed and more than 25000 have been injured. %70 of the casualties in Gaza are children and women.

On Sunday, the Israeli army said one of its soldiers was killed in gunbattles in Gaza, which brings the number of Israeli soldiers who have been killed since the army began its ground offensive on the coastal region a week earlier to thirty-one. Number of Israelis killed since October 7 is 246, in addition to 261 wounded.

Also, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) said the Israeli military’s missiles and shells have killed seventy-nine of its employees in Gaza since October 7, including five who were killed in the last two days.

It added that forty-eight of its facilities in Gaza were damaged by Israeli missiles, and that some of its employees lost many of their relatives and had to leave their homes due the ongoing bombing of Gaza but continue to work to provide whatever humanitarian aid they can to the dozens 1.5 million displaced families. about half of the displaced families are sheltering in UNRWA facilities, including schools.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli army bombed many UNRWA schools in Gaza, while the most recent attacked school is Al-Fakhoura School, one of the biggest educational facilities in Jabalia refugee camp, where thousands of families are sheltering, leading to the death of dozens of displaced Palestinians.
