Hamas claims IDF killed 70 Palestinians trying to leave Gaza after asking residents to leave homes

According to Hamas, the Israeli army killed 70 Palestinians and injured over 200 more as they attempted to flee Gaza City after it warned residents that they needed to evacuate to the southern section of the Strip.

The statement from Hamas says women and children were also killed in the attack, adding that this occurrence illustrates "the extent of the lies and deception" of the IDF in its appeal for Palestinians to evacuate so that innocents are not harmed.
