Illegal Israeli colonizers attacked, on Saturday evening, Palestinians and their property, injuring one young man and damaging homes, in the southern occupied West Bank city of Hebron.

Media sources said that a number of illegal settlers, under the full protection of the occupation army, harassed citizens, and threw rocks and glass bottles at Palestinians and their homes, breaking a number of windows of homes in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood, in the center of Hebron.

Sources added that the colonizers, stabbed the Palestinian young man, Abdullah Ragheb Abu Aisha, in the back with a knife, causing a moderate injury, for which he was treated on site, by local medics.

Some of the damaged homes belong to the families of Abu Markhiya, Abu Shamsia, Ghanem, Dais, Al-Haddad, Abu Haikal, Abu Aisha, located near the illegal “Ramat Yishai” colony, built on expropriated Palestinian lands in the center of the city.

All Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, are illegal under international law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states;

"The Occupying Power [ISRAEL] shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies [PALETINE]"
