Illegal Israeli colonizers attacked, on Saturday, a number of areas in the occupied West Bank, setting Palestinian-owned lands on fire, and assaulting citizens, local sources reported.
In the northern part of the West Bank, a group of settlers, under army protection, burned hundreds of trees belonging to local residents in Burin village, south of Nablus, and assaulted those who attempted to extinguish the fires.
Media sources said that several illegal colonists invaded farmlands in the village and set fire to trees, which resulted in the destruction of hundreds of trees.
Furthermore, the colonizers assaulted the Palestinian landowners who tried to stop the burning of their crops.
There were no reports of injuries at the time of writing this report.
In the northeastern West Bank, west of the ancient city of Jericho, illegal settlers attempted to steal sheep belonging to local Palestinian Bedouin citizens in the “Arab Al-Malihat area”, west of the city.
According to Hassan Malihat, the head of the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, said that the army provided security for the illegal colonizers who tried to steal sheep belonging to local residents.
Malihat added that armed settlers harassed residents and stopped the Bedouin residents from grazing their sheep, on their own land.
The shepherds were forced to graze their livestock close to their homes, despite the vast grazing pastures.
Meanwhile, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, Israeli colonists, armed with clubs, invaded the village of Tuqu’, located south of Bethlehem and tried to set fire privately-owned property and harm their livestock.
According to the head of the Bethlehem office of the Wall & Colonization Resistance Commission, Hasan Breijiyya, dozens of illegal settlers assaulted a local elderly couple, and attempted to burn their residential tent and harm their sheep.
Breijiyya added that this was the second attack in two consecutive days against the residents Salim al-Badan, 65, and his wife.
He said that the settlers were from a recently established illegal outpost, built on Palestinian-owned lands.
Local Palestinian citizens and the couple were successful in forcing the colonizers out of the area and stopping the attack.
Al-Badan said that the colonizers beat two of his family members with clubs when they were watering their crops, resulting in one of them sustaining bruises.

Remeber that intimidation is STRATEGIC, not merely cruel. It is designed to lead Palestinian communities to despair & to push them to leave their land - a tactic of ethnic cleansing.
know this & support Palestinian Sumud: the anti-colonial practice to counter this strategy
