Updated: The Palestinians Health Ministry has confirmed that Israeli soldiers killed a Palestinian and injured 185, including three who suffered life-threatening wounds, when dozens of soldiers invaded Nablus, in the northern West Bank, before wiring and detonating a Palestinian home.
The family lived on the fourth floor of a five-story building inhabited by eight Palestinian families.
The soldiers removed all families from the building and all surrounding homes and properties before wiring the fourth floor and detonating it several hours into the invasion.
The Health Ministry said the soldiers killed a young man, Khalil Yahia Al-Anis, 20, from the Al-Ein refugee camp, in addition to shooting and seriously injuring three with live fire.
Khalil was named after his uncle, who was killed during a massive Israeli invasion of Nablus in the year 2002.
The Health Ministry added that the soldiers also shot three Palestinians with rubber-coated steel bullets, one was rammed by an army jeep, two fell while the soldiers chased them, one Palestinian suffered burns due to Israeli concussion grenades and one was rammed by an army jeep and at least 175 suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The soldiers prevented medics and civil defense teams from reaching many Palestinian homes that the soldiers targeted with gas bombs and concussion grenades and fired live rounds and gas bombs at medics and their ambulance trying to transfer a patient from Abu Ali Tawil’s apartment in a residential building despite prior coordination conducted by the International Committee of the Red Cross. The ambulance sustained damage, especially to the windshield.
Also, the Civil Defense Directorate in Nablus said its teams extinguished a fire in a car that the army targeted during the invasion and treated many Palestinians in their homes in the same area for the effects of tear gas inhalation and suffocation.
According to data from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Israel demolished 396 homes and displaced 619 Palestinians since the beginning of this year.
Hundreds of Palestinians protested the invasion and the demolitions while armed resistance fighters also exchanged fire with the soldiers and detonated explosive charges.
On Tuesday, the soldiers killed Fares Abdul-Mon’em Mohammad Hashash, 19, and injured eight, including a child, after many army vehicles invaded the Balata refugee camp east of Nablus in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry said the soldiers killed Fares after shooting him with live rounds in the chest, abdomen, and legs.

Late Wednesday night, dozens of soldiers invaded Nablus city, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank, to prepare for demolishing the home of three detained siblings, leading to protests, before the soldiers injured dozens of Palestinians, including two who suffered life-threatening wounds.
Update:
The Israeli army is wiring the property, preparing to demolish it in the coming few hours.
The army attacked reporters, including Palestine TV reporters, during live coverage of the invasion, and fired gas bombs and concussion grenades at them.
One Palestinian was injured after the soldiers rammed him with their jeeps.
At least one Palestinian suffered burns due to Israeli concussion grenades.
One ambulance was targeted with a concussion grenade, causing damage to its windshield.
More soldiers are invading the Al-Ein refugee camp, Asira Street, Al-Basateen Street, Rafidia Street, and 15 Street.
The Israeli army invaded Nablus to wire and detonate the home of detainee Osama Tawil, who also has two siblings imprisoned by Israel.
The property consists of four floors where eight families reside, including the detained siblings’ parents and their fourth sibling.
The army abducted Osama Tawil after alleging he was behind a shooting that led to the death of an Israeli soldier on February 13. Osama, who was shot before the soldiers abducted him, also has two siblings, Khaled and Mo’mel, whom Israel imprisons.
The Israeli army claims that Osama is one of the Palestinians allegedly responsible for killing Israeli soldier Ido Baruch, 20, in October of last year.
The soldiers abducted Osama on February 13, 2023; on February 20, the army invaded his home to take measurements of the property in preparation for detonating it.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said the soldiers shot three at least three Palestinians with live fire, including two who suffered critical wounds to their heads.
The PRCS added that the soldiers also shot three Palestinians with rubber-coated steel bullets, rammed one with their jeep, and caused more than sixty to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
It also said that the soldiers prevented medics and ambulances from reaching wounded Palestinians and fired a gas bomb at an ambulance, shattering its windshield.
The PRCS stated that the army knew that ambulances were trying to enter invaded areas to aid wounded Palestinians, especially after the International Red Cross coordinated to ensure their safe passage, but fired at them regardless.
Also, the Palestinian Civil Defense Teams rushed to extinguish a fire in a car targeted by the army and a Palestinian home that was struck with gas bombs and concussion grenades on Al-Motanazah Street in Nablus, causing many Palestinians to suffocate.
The soldiers also fired several gas bombs at Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, causing several Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The Nablus invasion was carried out from several directions and was concentrated in the Rafidia area, where many armored military vehicles, including bulldozers, advanced, leading to massive protests and exchanges of fire with Palestinian resistance fighters.
