NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces detained at least four people in the West Bank overnight Monday, locals and security officials said.
Forces raided Nablus city at dawn, detaining Fadel Beitawi, 33, the son of Hamas-affiliated lawmaker Hamid Beitawi, and Muhammad Muna, 28, a journalist with Quds Press, locals said.
In nearby village Kafr Qalil, soldiers seized another man, Samid Khalifa, from his home, they added.
An Israeli army spokeswoman said two people were detained in Nablus overnight, as well as another in Qalqiliya and Hebron town Bani Naim.

The Israeli military detained, on Tuesday, three young men including the son of MP Hamed al-Betawi and a reporter from their homes in south Nablus.
Local Palestinian sources stated that the military detained Fadi al-Betawi, 33 years old, son of Sheikh Hamed al-Betawi after breaking into his house in the suburbs of Nablus and arrested correspondent of Quds Press Mohamed Mona, 28, after breaking into his house.
The sources added that the forces arrested a young man named Samed Khalifa from his home in the village of Kafr, south of Nablus.

Israeli Forces Arrest Three Palestinians in West Bank
NABLUS, April 3, 2012 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday arrested three Palestinians, including a journalist, from the West Bank cities of Nablus and Hebron, according to local sources.
They said that Israeli forces stormed Al-Dahiya, a neighborhood east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and searched several houses, tampering with their contents.
They arrested two Palestinians, including a correspondent from Quds Press International News Agency.
Israeli forces also arrested a 23 year-old Palestinian from Bani Na’im, a town east of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, after raiding his house and tampering with its contents.
