Earlier Wednesday, Israeli soldiers abducted seventeen Palestinians, including a legislator and former political prisoners, from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.

In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the soldiers abducted Yaman B’eirat and Adam Hamayel from Kafr Malek town, Abdul-Karim Abu Alia and Majed Na’san from Al-Moghayir town, in addition to former political prisoners Mustafa Al-Qadi.

In Hebron, in the southern West Bank, the soldiers abducted former legislator Azzam Salhab Tamimi, 37, and his sons Malek, 25, and Abdullah, 21, from Hebron city, and Mojahed Khaled Al-Hoor, Ghassan Ghneimat, Hamas Fuad Al-Qusi and Qassem Ali Al-Qadi, from Surif town.

In Tulkarem, in the northwestern West Bank, the soldiers abducted two former political prisoners, Arqam Riyad Harsha, 28, from Qaffin town, and Emad Ahmad Abu Asba, 36, from Illar town, north of the city.

In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Omar Mohammed Mansour from his home in Biddu town, northwest of the city.

In Jericho, in the northeastern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Saddam Fakhr Al-Omar, 22, after stopping him at a military roadblock near the Al-Mo’arrajat street at Jericho’s northwestern entrance.

The soldiers also shot two Palestinians and caused many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation in the Ein Al-Sultan refugee camp, north of Jericho in the northeastern West Bank.
