On Sunday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted five Palestinians from several parts of the occupied West Bank after the soldiers invaded and ransacked many homes.
In Bethlehem, the soldiers invaded Beit Sahour, east of the city, and abducted Khader Hindi Aja’ja, 22, from his home, in addition to a former political prisoner, Azzam Abdul-Wahab Hamamra, 26, and Mohammad Ahmad Shousha, 17, from Husan, west of Bethlehem.
The invasion of Husan led to protests before the soldiers fired live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades, causing many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The soldiers also invaded many towns in the central West Bank governorate of Salfit and searched many homes before abducting a former political prisoner, Rami Rateb Ed-Deek, from Kafr Ed-Deek, west of the city.
In Jericho, in the northeastern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Mahmoud Al-Kalony after stopping him at a military roadblock.
In related news, many army vehicles invaded the Al-Arroub refuge camp north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, leading to protests before the soldiers fired many live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Al-Fandaqumiya, Meithalun, Sanour, Jadeeda, Zababda, Misilyah, Al-Jarba, Jalboun, and Faqqu’a, in the northern West Bank governorate of Jenin and searched many homes.
It is worth mentioning that, late on Saturday night, the soldiers abducted a young man from Jericho and another Palestinian from Silwan town, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
