On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted at least twelve Palestinians, including siblings, after the army invaded and ransacked many homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.
In the Ar-Ram town, north of occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted Sari Al-Hallaq, from his home in the town, and summoned Mousa Khalaf for interrogation, immediately upon releasing him from prison after 14 months in captivity.
In Jericho, in the northeastern West Bank, several army jeeps invaded the Al-Awja village north of the city, searched many homes, and abducted five Palestinians from the same family.
The Jericho office of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said the soldiers abducted Ahmad Jamil Al-Jaraheed and his brother Ala’, Yahia Khaled Al-Jaraheed and his brother Abdul-Mon’em, and Mohammad Awwad Jaraheed.
In the southern part of the West Bank in Hebron, the soldiers abducted Hotheifa Abu Aabed, 38, from a home in the city; the Palestinian is from Tulkarem in the northern West Bank.
In Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, the soldiers abducted Adham Mohammad Sabarna, 22, and Ehab Abu Fanous, 23, after the army invaded the homes of their relatives.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the soldiers invaded Beitin village, east of the city, searched homes, and abducted three young men, Najm Abdullah Hamed, Ahmad Nawwaf Jarab’a, and Mohammad Yousef Jaber.
Furthermore, the soldiers invaded Tammoun town, south of Tubas in the northeastern West Bank, and exchanged fire with Palestinian resistance fighters near the town’s main junction.
In related news, Palestinian fighters fired live rounds at the Israeli military base atop the Gerizim Mountain in Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
Also in Nablus, several army jeeps invaded Huwwara town, south of the city, causing a traffic jam near the Huwwara military roadblock.
