On Thursday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted eight Palestinians, including two former political prisoners, from their homes in several parts of the occupied West Bank.

The soldiers invaded Um Safa and the Al-Mughayyir villages, northwest and east of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, searched homes, and abducted Soheib Jamil ash-Shabah, 36, and Luay Abdul-Hadi Abu Alia, 19.

In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers abducted Ammar Mohammad Al-Ja’bari, 20, from his home in the city, and former political prisoners Nasr Rajoub and Moshir Shahateet from their homes in Doura town, south of Hebron, in addition to Ala’ Anis Abu Mariya, 25, from Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.

Media sources said the soldiers caused serious property damage while searching the invaded homes.

In Beit Duqqu village, northwest of occupied Jerusalem searched homes and abducted Hashem Yazid Rayyan and Mohammad Riyad Rayyan.

The soldiers also invaded Beita town, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, searched homes, and summoned a former political prisoner, Islam Bani Shamsa, for interrogation.
