On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted nine Palestinians, including one woman, from several parts of the occupied West Bank.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers invaded Sheikh the Jarrah neighborhood, searched homes, and abducted a young man Human Al-Husseini.
The soldiers also invaded Sur Baher town, southeast of Jerusalem, searched several homes, and assaulted three young men, Mahmoud Ahman Abu Atwan, Qassam Mahmoud Attoun, and Mohammad Soheib Attoun, before abducting them.
In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded Burqin town, west of the city, and abducted a former political prisoner, Yousef Saleh Al-Bazour, from his home.
Media sources said the soldiers closed the main street to Arraba, Anza, Jaba’, and Qabatia, near Jenin, leading to protests before the army fired gas bombs and concussion grenades, causing several injuries.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers invaded Yatta and Doura towns south of the city, searched several homes, and abducted four Palestinians, including the wife of a political prisoner.
The abducted have been identified as Abdullah Ibrahim Da’ajna and Mousa Ibrahim Abu Qbeita, both high school students from Yattam, and Nihad Mohammad Rib’ey, 36, the wife of political prisoner Bilal Al-Yatim, from Yatta, in addition to Osama Mohammad Awawda, from Doura.
The army installed many roadblocks on Hebron’s northern roads and the streets leading to Sa’ir, Doura and Halhould, stopped and searched dozens of cars, and interrogated many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
The army also invaded Deir Abu Mashal village, northwest of the central West Bank city of Ramallah, leading to protests, and fired many gas bombs and concussion grenades.

A 36-year-old pregnant woman among 17 Palestinians the Israeli army has detained in the occupied territories
RAMALLAH, Monday, December 19, 2022 (WAFA) – The Israeli army detained this morning 17 Palestinians in raids across the occupied territories, including a 36-year-old woman who is in her fifth month of pregnancy and a mother of five children, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) and other sources.
The PPS said the army detained Nihal Mohammad Ribee, after raiding her home in the town of Yatta in the south of the West Bank despite the fact that she is in her fifth month of pregnancy.
Ribee’s husband, Bilal al-Yatim, and minor son, Baraa, were detained by Israel on December 11.
Local activist Rateb al-Jabour told WAFA that soldiers also detained two high school students in Yatta, and a fourth was detained in the town of Dura, south of Hebron, whose two brothers are in Israeli custody. The soldiers searched and ransacked the family house, said Jabour.
Soldiers also detained three Palestinians in the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, including two former prisoners from Dar Salah and Obeidiyeh, and the third from the town of Tuquo, southeast of Bethlehem. The soldiers also ransacked their homes during the arrest, according to Palestinian security sources.
Three young Palestinians from the Attoun family were also detained in Sur Baher neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem in a raid at their homes. The three were beaten during the arrest, reported WAFA correspondent.
The Israeli occupation forces also detained a former prisoner in the town of Burqin, west of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
The PPS said arrests were also reported in Qalqilya, in the north of the West Bank.
