On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers killed a young Palestinian man, abducted three young men, including his brother, and injured at least six.

Palestinian TV said the soldiers surrounded the Deheishe refugee camp and occupied the rooftops of tall buildings overlooking it before undercover officers infiltrated it using a car carrying Palestinian license plates.

It added that the Palestinians became aware of the undercover officers before many armored military vehicles invaded the refugee camp, leading to protests.

he soldiers fired dozens of live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said the soldiers shot Omar Yousef Manna’ Fararja, 22, with live rounds in the chest and killed him.

The Health Ministry added that the soldiers also shot six Palestinians with live fire to their extremities before Palestinian medics rushed them to Bethlehem hospitals.

The soldiers also stormed and ransacked many homes and abducted three Palestinians, Omar’s brother, Yazan Fararja, 24, in addition to Odai Essam Abu Nassar, 24, and his brother Mu’ath, 27.

On Monday afternoon, thousands of Palestinians held a funeral procession that started in Deheishe refugee camp and headed towards the Shuhada Graveyard in the Artas village, south of Bethlehem.

Israeli military forces arrested the son of jailed senior Islamic Jihad commander Bassam al-Saadi and killed another Palestinian early Monday morning in raids across the West Bank.

Israeli forces arrested Yehiya al-Saadi, son of imprisoned senior Islamic Jihad operative Bassam al-Saadi, during a raid in Jenin. According to the IDF, another Palestinian was shot during the raid, although his condition remains unclear.

Bassam al-Saadi is one of the Islamic Jihad's most senior leaders in the West Bank. In August, Israel charged al-Saadi with terrorism, incitement, and membership and support of a terror organization. His high-profile arrest was largely seen as the catalyst behind Israel's three-day bombardment of the Gaza Strip in August, during which the Islamic Jihad fired over 1,000 rockets in response.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, 23-year-old Omar Manna was shot in the chest by Israeli forces during a separate raid of Deheisheh refugee camp, just south of Bethlehem.

The Israeli military spokesperson said the IDF entered the camp to arrest three wanted operatives, including Manna's brother, and an exchange of fire broke out during which Manna was shot. Suspects also threw stones and Molotov cocktails at soldiers.

Palestinian factions in the Bethlehem area have declared a general strike and a day of mourning for Manna, calling on the public to take part in his funeral procession.

On Thursday, two Palestinian militants were killed in an exchange of fire with Israeli forces near Jenin's refugee camp during an operation to arrest three militants.
