On Friday dawn, Israeli soldiers abducted at least ten Palestinians in several parts of the occupied West Bank, including the occupied capital, Jerusalem.
Several army jeeps invaded the al-Obeydiyya town, east of Bethlehem before the soldiers stormed and searched homes and abducted Mohyeddin Mohammad Abu Sarhan, 22.
The soldiers also invaded Um Safa village, northwest of Ramallah in the central West Bank, before they broke into and violently searched several homes after smashing their front doors and abducted four Palestinians, Yazan Mohammad Tanatra, his brother Amir, Wajd Najeh Tanatra, and Bara’ Osama Hamad.
Wajd and Bara’ are both former political prisoners previously abducted and imprisoned by Israel.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers abducted two young men, Hammouda al-Mahoush and Osama Rajabi, after stopping them at the permanent military roadblock near the Ibrahimi Mosque.
In Qalqilia, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers abducted Odai Awad Hijjawi, 29, near the city’s northern entrance.
Furthermore, the soldiers abducted Amir Jom’a Hmeidat, 23, from the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, after stopping him at a sudden military roadblock they installed west of Jericho city.
In occupied Jerusalem, the soldiers abducted a child, Mohammad Yasser Darwish, from the Al-Isawiya town east of the city.
The soldiers also invaded the Shu’fat refugee camp northeast of Jerusalem, and the At-Tour town east of the city, leading to protests, before the army fired many rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades.
