JENIN (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces raided two charitable organizations in Jenin overnight Wednesday, witnesses told Ma'an.

Locals said that 20 military vehicles raided the Al-Baraa institution and an orphanage center, destroying the front gates and confiscating contents from the building.

Soldiers raided the home of detainee Bassam al-Saadi, an Islamic Jihad member, and summoned his son Suhaib to visit an Israeli intelligence center.

Isralei forces also raided the Jenin village of Anin, which lies opposite the Israeli separation wall.

An Israeli army spokeswoman said that "IDF soldiers operated in Jenin as part of routine activity against terror infrastructure."
